Ingredients
2 oz Rye Whisky
1 oz Spiced orange vermouth
0.25 oz Sortilege maple whisky liqueur
Star anise (for garnish)
Preparation
Add rye whisky, spiced orange vermouth and sortilege maple whisky liqueur to mixing glass with ice
Mix for 20 seconds
Strain into a rocks glass with ice
Garnish with a star anise pod and enjoy
Spiced orange vermouth
To a jar add 1 cup of sweet vermouth, 5 large slices of orange peel, 4 cloves, 2 cinnamon sticks, 1 star anise and 3 all spice. Store in the fridge for two days, then strain.
